RADAR for Live Sound

• DUAL DISK recording.  At the end of a long session, RADAR hands you an instant backup of your once-in-a life-time laid down master tracks.  Give one disk to the client, and keep the other for safety.
• DISK SPANNING provides the only seamless “spill” record onto multiple disks while in record.  You can record, play, jog or even edit audio over disk boundaries for uninterrupted and unparalleled long record times.
• Custom disk configurations allow different tracks to be split over multiple disks for added safety.
• With its stable operating system, RADAR’s field-tested recording engine puts it head and shoulders above all other systems for rock solid reliability.
• MADI option board with dual Coax/Optical interface.  RADAR is the only recorder on the market with daisy-chainable MADI I/O that presents multiple RADAR units to digital mixing engines as a single, interleaved MADI port.
• A Sync engine that won’t quit.  SMPTE Freewheel and Lock and Drop modes ensure that disappearing time code won’t be a sync show stopper for RADAR.  “Lost Sync” record protection keeps the show rolling, even after the complete loss of video, word clock, or AES sync.  RADAR automatically marks and labels the drop out point to give the user a heads-up during the mix.
