Important Note About SATA I vs. SATA II Drives: All current SATA drives are SATA II. SATA equipped RADAR units manufactured prior to November 2010 must have their SATA receivers upgraded from SATA 1 (1.5 Gbits/sec) to SATA II (3 Gbits/sec) in order to use the currently shipping SATA II drives. SATA 1 drives are no longer available.

The iZ eSATA option port enables eSATA recording to an iZ SATA drive or file transfers onto any eSATA drive or Firewire / USB 2.0 drive equipped with an eSATA port.

This convenient, high reliability front panel eSATA port replaces RADAR's floppy drive and installs directly onto RADARs internal SCSI bus. An eSATA drive is identical in function to RADAR's internal keylock SCSI and SATA drives. Software update recommended.
